Come join in on all the reindeer fun on December 19 2015!

Rudolph’s Revenge is a 30 and 40 mile race on December 19th that takes place in Denton Texas around Lake Ray Roberts. Riders will sprint up the Lake Ray Roberts Greenbelt, to Isle Du Bois State Park and then finish 1 or 2 laps of the most challenging trail in DFW.

Small county police department steals trailer from High school non-profit through civil forfeiture.
Details below in the city of Alvarado “misinformation release” and in the comments following. On April 19th a non-profit high school mountain bike team from Dallas was returning from a race in southern Texas. The car driven by coaches Tyler Hancock and Clint Tredway was pulling a newly purchased trailer loaded with the youth athletes bicycles and gear. September 12th you are invited to join us at Sports Authority in Farmers Branch for our next Bicycle Maintenance Clinic.

Glen Bertagnoli a long time bicycle mechanic and a wizard at the workbench has invited us to learn how to do some of the most common bicycle maintenance tasks. We are hosting this clinic at the Farmers Branch Sports Authority from 6:30-8:30pm on September 12th.

What I Do When Mountain Biking

This video popped up a few nights ago and I thought it was awesome because of all the parallels between the video and my own experiences Mountain Biking.

My wife imagines me as a reckless rider sure to end up in the hospital, my parents think I’m mostly just riding around on sidewalks, but most accurately is the way I imagine myself

We’ve all been there, we have delusions of grandeur and imagine ourselves doing all sorts of epic and dramatic riding. But in reality, we’re just putting along.

This week is another convergence of kick-assery as we have 3 racing opportunities for mountain bikers in DFW within the next 7 days.

Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6pm we have DFW Summer Series races, followed up on Saturday by the Lone Star XC race at Rowlett Creek Preserve.
